Extract from the transport list of the 8th convoy from Zilina (Slovakia) to Lublin on 4 April 1942. Among the 1040 Jews who were deported were also 16 people from Austria. One of these people was the laborer Ludwig Rosenberg, born 17 February 1921 in Mattersburg. Until 1938 he lived in Vienna, afterwards fleeing to Slovakia. His last known address was in Bratislava, Zidovska 26. Ludwig Rosenberg was sent after a short period from Lublin to Auschwitz where he died on 6 July 1942.
